Αν σήμερα τούτο τον κόσμο αποχαιρετούσα,

τίποτα δε θα με έκανε πιότερο χαρούμενη,

απ' την γλυκιά ανάμνηση της ζεστής αγκάλης σου!

Κι είναι αλήθεια τόσο λαμπρό να φεύγεις

όταν πια έχεις γευτεί φιλί αληθινής αγάπης!

Γιατί τότε μόνο έχει εμφανιστεί εμπρός σου

όλη η αλήθεια της πρόσκαιρης σου ύπαρξης!

Αν σήμερα τούτο τον κόσμο άφηνα πίσω,

τίποτα δε θα είχε μείνει ανείπωτο γιατί

τα μάτια σου είπαν όσα τα χείλη κρατούσαν μυστικό!

Κι είναι αλήθεια τόσο λυτρωτικό να φεύγεις

όταν πια έχεις φτάσει στον τελικό προορισμό!

Γιατί τότε μόνο το ταξίδι έχει νόημα

κι όλα τα μαθήματα δείχνουν το σκοπό τους!

Αν σήμερα έκλεινα τα μάτια μου και πια δεν τα άνοιγα,

ευτυχισμένη θα ήμουν γιατί αγαπήθηκα από σένα!!!
